How to Check TRCN 2021 PQE Result
To check the TRCN result for 2021, follow the three steps outlined below. The results of the TRCN Professional Qualifying Examination are listed in the table below (PQE)
- To access the Result Checking Portal, go to https://govtportal.net/searchResult.
- In the given field, type your TRCN PQE Number or Name, for example: FI/PQE/B027/P/11**9.
- Finally, to see your TRCN result, click the Check My Result Button.
TRCN 2020 Result Statistics
TRCN’s Registrar/Chief Executive, Prof. Olusegun Ajiboye, announced this in Abuja during a meeting with executives of the Education Correspondents Association of Nigeria, led by its chairman, Mr Chuks Ukwuatu.
He said that 28,094 (75 percent) of the candidates passed the exam, which includes instructors from all 36 states and the District of Columbia.
He also remarked that the TRCN exam results are very encouraging, adding that the exam was created as a gate-keeping mechanism for the teaching profession.
During his address, he indicated that the total number of candidates tested was 37,340, despite the fact that about 44,363 candidates had enrolled for the exam. A high percentage of candidates were unable to relocate or write the exam due to the presence of COVID-19.
Number of Candidates that Passed the TRCN Examination
In all, 28,094 TRCN candidates passed the exam, accounting for 75.24 percent of those who attempted it, whereas 9,246 TRCN candidates failed, accounting for 24.76 percent of those who attempted it.
According to the TRCN, Lagos State had 3,574 candidates sit for the TRCN PQE, whereas Ekiti State had only 235.
